All About Autism

These issues with autism high school students will make you think differently! There are so many autistic individuals who are struggling with schooling and the format in which schools present the learning environment. It’s all to do with learning styles and learning types! The schooling system uses a single model of teaching to teach every single student they come across. This is like handing out the same size school uniform to everyone, this would never work as people are different. This is all down to the fact that we think differently and we learn differently. People on the autism spectrum are usually visual and tactile learners, which means looking at text on a white board isn’t the best way to learn. I would suggest changing it to a more hands on, approach using props and models to teach.
