Why do people with Aspergers struggle at school? These are the main problems with aspergers high school learning.
High school with autism could have been made a lot easier for many people on the autism spectrum but due to lack of understanding people still struggle today.
Listed here are 3 of the main problems we as Autistc people face in a school learning environment.

1.Learning Type:
Not all learners are the same, we all have needs but autistic people have more specific learning needs and need a personal learning plan to be successful at school.
2.Friends:
Socialising is a huge part of high school and this is done through making friends. Helping autistic people make friends and keep friendships in school is an integral part of the process.

3.Focus:
Focus can be a huge struggle for autistic people in school, because of a few factors. To mention a couple, most autistic people have a co occurring ADHD diagnosis which is in it’s self a focusing issues. Also autism comes with a hyper focus / zoning out which would mean focusing on something else other than the lesson at hand.
