Aspergers Symptoms - Why Do They Happen? (What YOU NEED To Know)
These are the Aspergers symptoms you need to know to understand Asperger’s syndrome.
Asperger’s syndrome has many symptoms of autism traits that characterise the condition as a whole.
While Asperger’s syndrome has its name change to autism spectrum disorder the characteristics traits and condition symptomatic behaviour is the same.
Aspergers is often referred to as high functioning autism because of its lower support needs than other people on the autism spectrum.
Aspegers syndrome has many traits and there are reasons for these. Below I have listed 5 of the most interesting ones and the reasons they occur.
1.Fast Talking
You may have noticed that autistic people talk fast, this is because the autism brain is moving at 1000 mph and the thought process is super quick. So the autistic person is trying to keep up with their mind.
2.Socialising Issues
Socialising is very difficult for people on the autism spectrum because the part of the brain that people use for socialising is the communication part of our brain which is impacted by the neurological differences in autism.
3.Eye Contact
It’s a common trait that most people will noice, that many autistic people do not make eye contact. This happens because eye contact is linked to the communication part of the brain which is also impacted by the neurological differences in an Autistc person and eye contact does not come naturally.
4.Obsessive Interests
As an autistic persons brain is highly engaging with the finer details in the world, it is often so that an autistic individual will find complexity and very intense detail in the most unusual things that causes an obsession due to the seeing of details most people cannot see.
5.Routine
Autistic people love their routines and this is due to one main reason, which is the control of unpredictable events. Surprises do not go well with autism so in order to keep comfort safety and predictability, autistic people favour routines because of this factor.
