Why YOU Keep Having AUTISM MELTDOWNS (3 Reasons)

Do YOU keep having autism meltdowns? This is probably the reason why! 3 Reasons you keep having autism meltdowns! Autism meltdowns are probably one of the single most impactful issues of being on the autism spectrum. But there are ways you can overcome them and help reduce meltdowns, first you have to know why they happen. Here are 3 reasons you are probably explaining autism meltdowns. 1.Ignoring Triggers: Many autism meltdowns come from external triggers like visiting a shopping mall or super market. If you know that these are potential triggers for meltdowns, do not attend these activities. Ignoring these triggers just makes matters worse. 2.Buddy System: Having someone to call, alert or just talk to when you know you are having a meltdown or, about to have one will pay off so much. Your friends or ‘buddies’ are always there to help you when you need them, so give them a chance as they can probably help prevent the meltdown in the first place. 3.Reaction Time: One of the most important things is the reaction time during and after a meltdown. A meltdown can be so overwhelming and draining, what you do straight after will help you overcome it quicker next time. After a meltdown, do something that will bring you joy.
